(1) Ametnikul on 24-tunnise ajavahemiku jooksul vähemalt 11 tundi järjestikust puhkeaega (edaspidi igapäevane puhkeaeg). (2) Ametnikul on seitsmepäevase ajavahemiku jooksul vähemalt 48 tundi järjestikust puhkeaega (edaspidi iganädalane puhkeaeg). (3) Summeeritud tööaja arvestuse korral on ametnikul seitsmepäevase ajavahemiku jooksul vähemalt 36 tundi järjestikust puhkeaega. ... (5) Üldjuhul antakse iganädalane puhkeaeg laupäeval ja pühapäeval.

Member States which make use of the option in Article 4 (2) (b) or (c) shall adopt the measures necessary to ensure that, for each 24-hour period, children are entitled to a minimum rest period of 14 consecutive hours.
