  • Kui Eestis toimunud kindlustusjuhtum põhjustati sõidukiga, millest tuleneva vastutuse on kindlustanud välisriigi kindlustusandja, hüvitab kahjustatud isikule kahju kindlustusandja nimel tema esindaja Eestis (edaspidi korrespondent).
  • Juhul kui välismaalane tekitab välisriigi registrisse kantud sõidukiga Eestis kahju teisele välismaalasele, siis lepinguriigist pärit kahjustatud isiku puhul on tal õigus pöörduda tagasi koduriiki ja nõuda kahju hüvitamist kahju põhjustanud isiku liikluskindlustuse kindlustusandja kohaliku esindaja kaudu või kui tegemist ei ole lepinguriigist pärit kahju põhjustajaga, siis toimub kahju hüvitamine läbi kahju põhjustaja kindlustusandja korrespondendi Eestis või kui korrespondenti pole Eestisse määratud, siis läbi fondi (tegemist on tavapärase rohelise kaardi süsteemi juhtumiga).
  • Kannatanule hüvitab kahju välisriigi kindlustusandja korrespondent või LKF. LKF hüvitab kahju, kui välisriigi kindlustusandja ei ole Eestisse korrespondenti määranud või kahju põhjustanud sõiduk ei olnud kindlustatud.

  • The correspondent shall handle all claims in conformity with any legal or regulatory provisions applicable in the country of accident relating to liability, compensation of injured parties and compulsory motor insurance, in the name of the bureau that has approved it and on behalf of the insurer that requested its approval, arising out of accidents occurring in that country involving vehicles insured by the insurer that requested its approval.
