Määratletud piirkonnas valmistatud kvaliteetvein (edaspidi mpv-kvaliteetvein) on eriliste kvaliteediomadustega vein, mis on valmistatud määratletud piirkonnas kasvatatud kindlatest viinamarjasortidest. Mpv-kvaliteetveini kirjeldamisel ja nimetuses kasutatakse vastava määratletud piirkonna nime. Euroopa Liidus valmistatavate mpv-kvaliteetveinide loetelu avaldatakse Euroopa Ühenduste Teataja C-osas.
