Comprehensive analyses include costs for waste collection, waste treatment (sorting, recovery, disposal, etc.) including the management of closed landfills, staff costs and all other waste-management-related costs.
To encourage more standardised and effective practices across the EU, the Commission will issue new guidance on separate collection and sorting of waste.
