(13) Vautšer käesoleva seaduse tähenduses on instrument, mille kauba võõrandaja või teenuse osutaja on kohustatud vastu võtma tasuna või osana tasust kauba või teenuse eest ning mille puhul on võõrandatav kaup või osutatav teenus või kauba müüja või teenuse osutaja märgitud kas vautšeril või sellega seotud dokumentides, sealhulgas sellise vautšeri kasutamise tingimustes. Vautšerina ei käsitata instrumenti, mis annab õiguse saada kauba soetamisel või teenuse saamisel allahindlust, kuid mis ei anna õigust kaupa soetada või teenust saada. Vautšer on üheotstarbeline, kui vautšeriga seotud kauba või teenuse käibe tekkimise koht (§-d 9, 10 ja 101) ja sellelt kaubalt või teenuselt tasumisele kuuluv käibemaksusumma on vautšeri väljastamise ajal teada. Vautšer on mitmeotstarbeline, kui selle väljastamise ajal ei ole kauba võõrandamise või teenuse osutamise käibe tekkimise koht või sissenõutav käibemaksusumma teada.

(13) For the purposes of this Act, voucher is an instrument which the transferor of goods or the service provider is required to accept as a fee or as part of a fee for the goods or services and in which the goods to be transferred or the service provided or the transferor of the goods or the service provider are indicated on the voucher or related documents, including the conditions of use of such voucher. An instrument that gives the right to receive a discount upon the acquisition of goods or receipt of services, but which does not give the right to acquire goods or receive services, is not considered a voucher. The voucher is single-purpose if the voucher-related place of supply of the goods or services (§§ 9, 10 and 101) and the amount of the value added tax due on the goods or services are known at the time of issue of the voucher. The voucher is multipurpose if, at the time of issue, the place of supply of the transferred goods or provision of service or the collectable value added tax is not known.
