Tekita laeva kogumahutavus arvutatakse § 4 lõikes 3 või 6 toodud valemi järgi, kusjuures parda kõrgus D mõõdetakse kuni sandeki (pardalati) ülemise servani.
Kereplaadistuse siirivöö ja tekiplaadistuse ühendusjoont nimetatakse sandeki (gunwale) ühenduseks.
