Tuletisväärtpaberite alusvaraks võivad olla ainult väärtpaberid, mis vastavad investeerimisfondide seaduse paragrahvi 102 lõike 1 punktides 1 kuni 3 ja paragrahvis 149 sätestatud nõuetele, või valuuta, mida noteerib Eesti Pank.
