Wall coverings (reaction to fire): Member State(1) requires wall coverings in hotel escape routes to be Euroclass A2 or better, whereas Member State(2) requires wall coverings in hotel escape routes to be Euroclass A1.
Routes and exits which can be used as emergency routes and exits must be unobstructed and easily accessible at all times and lead out as directly as possible to the open deck or to a safe area and thence to the survival craft so that workers can evacuate their workstations or living areas quickly and as safely as possible.
