The manager of a company will when used as a legal phrase, be part of the management body of the company (in that case often referred to as the General Manager or Senior Manager with reference to the Board of Directors). However, the size of management will inevitably range from one person in a small organisation to a multi-layered management with various degrees of authority in large complex organisations.
