Nisu kultuurliigid jagunevad paljas- ja sõkalteralisteks. Paljasteralistest on tähtsaimad harilik ehk pehme nisu (T. aestivum ehk T. vulgare) ja kõva nisu (T. durum).
Wheat is one of the oldest and most important of the cereal crops.
