T-rakk, millel on võime reguleerida teiste T-rakkude aktivatsiooni
The regulatory T cells formerly known as suppressor T cells, are a subpopulation of T cells which modulate the immune system, maintain tolerance to self-antigens, and prevent autoimmune disease. The regulatory T cells can regulate other T-cell activity. Recent evidence suggests that mast cells may be important mediators of the regulatory T cells dependent peripheral tolerance.
