seadis õhu jaotamiseks metallurgilise seadme (vagranka, kõrgahi jms) furmide vahel (vt furm), a receptacle from which a blast air is supplied (as to the tuyeres of a cupola, blast furnace etc) (see: tuyere), приёмник, откуда подаётся вдуваемый воздух (в фурмы домны, вагранки, и т. д.) (см. фурма)
