Domain non-ferrous metals
  • madala sulamistemperatruuriga vismuti, plii ja tina (vahel ka elavhõbe ja indium) jootmissulam, mille sulamistemperatuur on alla 183 oC (tinapliijoodiste eutektikumi sulamistemperatuur) (vt kergsulav metall; vrd kesksulav sulam, kõrgsulav sulam)
  • an alloy of bismuth, lead and tin (and sometimes cadmium and mercury) which melt in the temperature is below 183 oC (the melting point of tin-lead solders) (see: low-melting metal; compare: medium-melting-point alloy, refractory alloy)
    Good to know
    • A group of binary, ternary, quaternary, and quinary alloys containing bismuth, lead, tin, cadmium, and indium. The term "fusible alloy" refers to any of more than 100 alloys that melt at relatively low temperatures, that is, below melting point of tin-lead eutectic solder (183 oC); the melting point of these alloys is as low as 47 oC.
