- On oluline mikrostruktuuri näitaja, mis iseloomustab anisotroopiat polükristallilises struktuuris. See tähendab, et kindel kogus terasid materjalis on orienteeritud omavahel. Tekstuur on oluline plastse deformeerimise, tardumise, rekristalliseerumise, faasimuutuse ja sadestamise seisukohalt.

Hea teada
- Important microstructural parameter determining the anisotropy degree of polycrystalline material. It means, that a certain portion of grains in material would crystallographically orient themselves within a narrow orientation range.Texture can evolve during plastic deformation, solidification, recrystallization, phase transition, sputter deposition etc.
