  • mikrostruktuuri osade kihiti jaotumine likvatsiooni tulemusena tardumise käigus (vt likvatsioon; vrd ribatekstuur)
  • lines of constituents in the microstructure caused by segregation during solidification (see: segregation; compare: mechanical fibering/banded structure)

  • metalli plastsel töötlemisel, üldjuhul materjali voolamise suunaline mikrostruktuuri koostisosade – näiteks terade, suletiste, sekundaarfaasi osakeste, likvatsiooniribade ja sisepiiride – väljavenimine ja joondumine (vt deformatsioonitekstuur; vrd kiudtekstuur, kristallograafiatekstuur, rekristallisatsioonitekstuur)
    Good to know
    • See on mittekristallograafiline morfoloogiline suunalisus, mis võib põhjustada anisotroopiat. Näiteks esineb selline mikrostruktuur alaeutektoidsest süsinikterasest kuumdeformeeritud tootes, milles perliit ja eeleutektoidne ferriit moodustavad eelneva kuumdeformatsiooni suunaga paralleelseid vahelduvaid kihte. (vt alaeutektoidteras, perliit, eeleutektoidferriit;vrd kristallograafiatekstuur)
  • directional elongation and alignment of microstructural constituents - such as grains, inclusion, second-phase particles, segregation bands, and internal boundaries - produced by plastic working of a metal, generally along the direction of material flow (see: deformation texture; compare: fiber texture, crystallographic texture, recrystallization texture)
    Good to know
    • It is a non-crystallographic, morphological form of directionality which may cause anisotropy. As, an example, microstructure of an article fabricated from hypoeutectoid carbon steel, wherein pearlite and proeutectoid ferrite form alternating bands parallel to the direction of the preceding hot deformation. (see: hypoeutectoid steel, pearlite, proeutectoid ferrite; compare: crystallographic texture)
