    • Ülekuumutatud detaili/toorikut võib taastöödelda sobiva termotöötlemisega või deformeerimisega, olenevalt toote olemusest. Osalise sulamise korral on ülekuumutus pöördumatu.
    • 1. Rauasulamite kuumutamisel kõrgel temperatuuril leiab aset ülemäärane terakasv; 2. Alumiiniumisulamites moodustub struktuur, milles ilmnevad ümbertardunud eutektikum või muud muutused, mis viitavad metalli kuumutamisele sulamisvahemikku.

    Good to know
    • An overheated workpiece can be re-treated by appropriate heat treatment or by deformation, depending on nature of the product. If partial melting occurs during oveheating, the process is irreversible.
    • 1. In ferrous alloys heating carried out under temperature conditions such that excessive grain growth is produced; 2. in aluminum alloys produces structure that show areas of resolidified eutectic or other evidence indicating the metal has been heated within the melting range.

    Good to know
    • В зависимости от своей природы перегретая заготовка может быть заново подвергнута подходящей термообработке или же обработке давлением. Если во время перегрева происходит частичное расплавление, процесс необратим.
    • 1. в случае железоуглеродистых сплавов нагрев до настолько высокой температуры, при которой происходит рост зерна и другие изменения структуры; их можно устранить последующей термообработкой; 2. в случае алюминиевых сплавов нагрев до образования структуры, которая содержит заново кристаллизовавшуюся эвтектику или другие признаки нагрева до температуры плавления.
