Self-drive is the use of military advisors and up-armoured vehicles assigned to Military Advisory Group –North (MAG-N) (or in use by service persons in MAG-N owned by their respective nations), whereby advisors themselves drive and provide personal security to each other on the move and during the meeting/activity, with no specially allocated Personal Security Detachment (PSD) attachment or escort.
