  • insular like uplands on East European Plain with bedrock plinth, c 100m of relative height and altitude up to 300 m, being some thousands of square km in area. Are devided as plinth type uplands of glacial erosion having thin (5-10m) sedimentary cover and slightly rolling topography (Pandivere, Isuri etc) and accumulative insular heights with thick (ut to two hundred m) sedimentary cover containing several till beds and having hummocky topography (Otepää, Haanja, Luga etc).
