The sale of movable property shall be (a) suitably advertised locally if the unit purchase price was at least ECU 7 000; at least 14 days must elapse between the date of publication of the last advertisement and the conclusion of the contract of sale; (b) advertised by a notice of sale published in the Official Journal of the European Communities if the unit purchase price was at least ECU 340 000. Such sales may also be suitably advertised in the press of the Member States. At least one month must elapse between the date of publication of the notice in the Official Journal of the European Communities and the conclusion of the contract of sale.
