Except in so far as provided in paragraph 3, (a) in open procedures, the period for the receipt of tenders shall not be less than 40 days from the date of publication referred to in paragraph 1 of Article IX; (b) in selective procedures not involving the use of a permanent list of qualified suppliers, the period for submitting an application to be invited to tender shall not be less than 25 days from the date of publication referred to in paragraph 1 of Article IX; the period for receipt of tenders shall in no case be less than 40 days from the date of issuance of the invitation to tender.

Usage examples

1. If an annex is attached to any of the forms referred to in Article 2 which is an integral part of it, that fact and the number of pages shall be clearly indicated on the permit or certificate concerned and each page of the annex shall include: (a) the number of the permit or certificate and its date of issue, and (b) the signature and the stamp or seal of the authority having issued the permit or certificate.
2. For the purposes of Article 21 (2) of Regulation (EEC) No 3719/88, import licences shall be valid for 150 days from the date of actual issue.
