Pursuant to Article 21(3) of the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community, Article 138(3) of the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community and 108(3) of the Treaty establishing the European Atomic Energy Community, the European Parliament shall draw up a proposal for a uniform electoral procedure. Pending the entry into force of a uniform electoral procedure and subject to the other provisions of this Act, the electoral procedure shall be governed in each Member State by its national provisions.
