An applicant for a change to an aircraft (other than a rotorcraft) of 2 722 kg (6 000 lbs.) or less maximum weight or to a non-turbine rotorcraft of 1 361 kg (3 000 lbs.) or less maximum weight may show that the changed product complies with the type-certification basis incorporated by reference in the type-certificate.
