It is proposed that the default Date of Withdrawal (i. e. the duration of the period of co-existence) for hENs shall be one year after the publication of the reference in the OJEC (i. e. normally 21 months after the Date of Availability of the hEN), unless it can be demonstrated to the Commission (e. g. by the CEN TC concerned or the SCC) that this length of time is insufficient for the products in question 11.
