waste having the properties characteristic of solid substances, for example, domestic waste collected in sacks etc., scrap vehicles, discarded tyres, broken glass
discarded solid materials. Includes agricultural waste, mining waste, industrial waste and municipal waste.
For the purposes of this Chapter, ‘residue’ shall mean any liquid or solid waste which is generated by a waste incineration plant or waste co-incineration plant.
