The goal of our research is to create new materials for solid state ionics which can serve as new functional ceramics for direct energy conversion, conversion and separation of materials, and sensing of specific elements or compounds. For this purpose, different kinds of oxides were synthesized and their ionic conduction is electrochemically studied mainly at elevated temperatures. Proton conducting and oxide ion conducting ceramics are main object for our interests.
