The inventory system shall be established by the authorising officer with the technical assistance of the accounting officer. This inventory system, which shall be administered by the authorising officer, shall provide the central system of accounts with all the appropriate information needed to draw up the institution's balance sheet. The institutions shall each adopt, for their own purposes, provisions relating to the keeping of the equipment recorded in their respective balance sheets and shall determine the departments responsible for this task.
