Room-conditioning. The strap shall be kept for a minimum of 24 hours in an atmosphere having a temperature of 20 more or less 5 C and a relative humidity of 65 more or less 5 %. If the test is not carried out immediately after conditioning, the sample shall be placed in a hermetically sealed receptacle until the test begins. The breaking load shall be determined within five minutes of the strap's removal from the conditioning atmosphere or receptacle.
