Notwithstanding Article 3 (1) (c), for quality sparkling wines of the aromatic type and for quality sparkling wines of the aromatic type produced in specified regions as referred to in Article 1, second paragraph, (b) and (c) of Regulation
(EEC) No 2332/92, indication of the type of product as referred to in the first subparagraph may be replaced by indication of the residual sugar content expressed in grams per litre as determined by analysis.
