Beneficiaries of investment support measures under Title II, Chapters I, VII, VIII and IX, of Regulation (EC) No 1257/1999 may request the payment of an advance from the competent paying agencies if this option is included in the programming document. As regards public beneficiaries, this advance may only be granted to municipalities and associations thereof and to public law bodies.
