This higher density is achieved through the use of "magnetic sector servo tracking" technology (in the case of HiFDs), or "optically continuous servo tracking" technology (in the case of Superdisks LS-120s) to read from and write to the microdisks, which respectively automatically lead the reader head, either magnetically or optically, to the targeted track.
