It is appropriate to provide for the forms that additional payments may take. These forms should be premium supplements and area payments. Premium supplements should be granted in addition to the amounts of dairy premium granted per tonne of available premium reference quantities. It is also necessary to limit the total amount of support which may be granted per premium amount per year.
