If the FRG considers the proposal to be well founded, it will then determine (either itself or on the basis of recommendations) the functional performance criteria upon which a product is to be judged in the new reference test (e. g. no flashover in a room, extent of fire spread from storey to storey via a fa?ade etc) and, if required, any parameters that need to be measured or observed to express these criteria (e. g. time to flashover, heat release, flame spread, smoke production, occurrence of flaming droplets etc).
