To continue the Community's policy of quality improvement, the eligibility of applicants to receive the compensatory payments in respect of rapeseed and colzaseed should be restricted to those applicants who have sown certain varieties and qualities of seed. It is necessary to clarify the Community's glucosinolate and erucic acid standards for rapeseed and colzaseed and to specify the tests required to measure the glucosinolate and erucic acid content of seed samples.
