Peatekki ümbritseb hrl. umbreeling - pardaplaadistiku u. 1 m kõrgune jätk, milles on väljapoole avanevad luugid (nende kaudu voolab ära üle reelingu tekile sattunud vesi). Tekiehitistel, kuhu lained ei ulatu, on võrereeling.
