The dipped beam shall produce on the screen a "cut-off" sufficiently sharp as to allow of satisfactory adjustment. The "cut-off" shall be a horizontal straight line on the side opposite to the direction of the traffic for which the headlamp is intended; on the other side it should be horizontal or within an angle of 15 % above the horizontal.
