  • Award 1. In the light of the tenders received in response to each invitation to tender, a maximum buying-in price shall be fixed per category in accordance with the procedure laid down in Article 27 of Regulation (EEC) No 805/68; in the case of buying-in in accordance with Article 6 of Regulation (EEC) No 805/68, that maximum price shall refer to quality R 3; a different price may be set, for individual Member States or regions within a Member State, to reflect average market prices if special circumstances so require. 2. A decision may be taken to make no award. 3. If the total quantities offered at a price equal to or below the maximum price exceed the quantities to be bought in, the quantities accepted may be reduced for each category, using reducing coefficients which may increase according to the differences in price and the quantities offered.
