  • ... on pms. kuni 6 kuu vanuste sigade nakkushaigus. Tekitaja on anaeroobne Treponema prk-a kuuluv spiroheet (Treponema hyodysenteriae). Sead nakatuvad suu kaudu. Haigestumist soodustavad ebasanitaarsed pidamistingimused. Peiteaja (2-30 päeva) järel tekivad oksendamine ja kõhulahtisus, roe sisaldab sageli lima, mõnikord ka verd. Iseloomulik on lühiajaline kehat°-i tõus. Sead on isutud, kõhnuvad ning suremus võib olla 50-100%. Immuunsust ei teki.
