An aircraft shall only be operated in designated airspace where a reduced vertical separation minimum of 300 m (1 000 ft) applies above flight level (FL) 290, if: (1) the aircraft has been issued with an RVSM airworthiness approval by the Agency in accordance with Part-21; and (2) the operator has been approved by the competent authority.
