  • deflaator - tegur, millega mingi perioodi hindades näitarv teisendatakse mingi teise perioodi hindadesse. Tuntuimaid deflaatoreid on USA hinnadeflaator (implicit price deflator), mille leidmiseks võetakse GNP (gross national product) kõik komponendid võimalikult ükshaaval, parandatakse nad deflatsiooniga ning agregeeritakse taas, et saada GNP kindlates hindades; seejärel leitase GNP deflaator, jagades nimetatud baasaasta hindades GNP jooksvates hindades GNP-ga.
