It is considered that all expenses which are not directly attributable to a particular product should nonetheless be attributed and that, in the absence of any more reasonable approach, turnover is an appropriate basis for allocation of these expenses. This claim was therefore rejected, except in respect of "financial brokerage expenses", which, it was found, did not need to be taken into account since they would have had no impact on the definitive findings.
