1. Espcially in the southern parts of the Community, this role of forests is under threat from fire, which damages vast tracts of forested land every year.
2. If the forest area in which the plot is located consists of mixed stands, different species or age structure, the buffer zone shall be enlarged to up to five times the potential maximum height of the forest in the plot.
