  • konkreetsele suurusele omistatud väärtus, mis on tunnustatud (mõnikord leppeliselt) kui väärtus, millel on teatud otstarbeks sobiv määramatus
  • tõelise väärtusena käsitatava soojuskoguse väärtus
  • kindlal eesmärgil leppeliselt omistatud väärtus
  • value of a quantity which for a given purpose, may be substituted for the true value
  • value of a quantity which is considered as a true value
  • quantity value attributed by agreement to a quantity for a given purpose
tõeline leppeväärtus
Usage examples
  • Tõeline leppeväärtus on nt vaba langemise standardkiirendus (varem nimetatud „standardkiirenduseks gravitatsiooni tõttu“), gn = 9,806 65 m · s−2 , Josephsoni konstandi väärtus, KJ-90 = 483 597,9 GHz · V −1 ja antud massietaloni väärtus, m = 100,003 47 g.
conventional true value
Usage examples
  • Conventional true value is to example: standard acceleration of free fall (formerly called “standard acceleration due to gravity”), gn = 9,806 65 m · s−2 , value of the Josephson constant, K J-90 = 483 597,9 GHz · V −1 and value of a given mass standard, m = 100,003 47 g.
Good to know
  • The term “conventional true quantity value” is sometimes used for this concept, but its use is discouraged; sometimes a conventional true value is an estimate of a true quantity value. A conventional true value is generally accepted as being associated with a suitably small measurement uncertainty, which might be zero.
