  • a micrometer fastened to the stage of a microscope
esemealuse mikromeeter preferred
stage micrometer
Usage examples
  • A binocular microscope shall be used for counting and shall have the following features: ... - a Walton-Beckett circular eyepiece graticule with an apparent diameter in the object plane of 100 micrometres ± 2 micrometres, when using the specified objective and eyepiece, checked against a stage micrometer.

Domain laboratory engineering
  • kalibreeritud skaala pikkuse mõõtmiseks seoses mikroskoobiga (vrd okulaarmikrometer)
    Good to know
    • Läbipaistev klaasketas skaalaga, millel 1 mm on jagatud 100ks osaks (0,01 mm). On mõeldud metallimikroskoobi kalibreerimiseks.
  • calibrated scale for length measurement in conjunction with a microscope (compare: ocular micrometer)
    Good to know
    • Transparent glass disc with scale usually 1mm/100 parts for calibration of metallographic microscopes.

object-micrometer
  • device for measuring the magnification achieved with a given microscope or for calibrating an eyepiece graticule
  • simply a microscope slide with a finely divided scale marked on the surface
objektskaala preferred
Usage examples
  • Objektskaala on teadaolevalt tegeliku pikkusega ja seda kasutatakse okulaarpeadega mikroskoopide optiliste süsteemide kalibreerimiseks.
Good to know
  • Objektskaala on eriti oluline ühe mikroskoobi mõõteeesmärkide vaheldumise korral või sama okulaarpea kasutamisel erinevates mikroskoopides.
mikroskaala
objektmikromeeter former
stage micrometer preferred
Usage examples
  • The scale of the stage micrometer is of a known true length and is used for calibration of optical systems with eyepiece graticule patterns.
Good to know
  • The stage micrometer is particularly important when alternating between objectives on one microscope or when using the same graticule in different microscopes.
object-micrometer
Usage examples
  • Object-micrometer is used for calibrating the ocular micrometer.
stage micrometer slide variant
Good to know
  • It usually consists of a small accurate scale mounted on a microscopic slide.
