Töötuskindlustus on sundkindlustuse liik, mille eesmärgiks on hüvitiste maksmine töötajale ja teenistujale (edaspidi töötaja) töötuks jäämise, töölepingute ja teenistussuhete kollektiivse ülesütlemise ning tööandja maksejõuetuse korral.
