  • An 'explosive` means: (a) (i) a substance or preparation which creates the risk of an explosion by shock, friction, fire or other sources of ignition (risk phrase R 2), (ii) a pyrotechnic substance is a substance (or mixture of substances) designated to produce heat, light, sound, gas or smoke or a combination of such effects through non-detonating self-sustained exothermic chemical reactions, or (iii) an explosive or pyrotechnic substance or preparation contained in objects; (b) a substance or preparation which creates extreme risks of explosion by shock, friction, fire or other sources of ignition (risk phrase R 3).

  • (2) Pürotehniline aine on aine või ainete segu, mis on mõeldud tekitama mitteplahvatusliku iseeneslikult kulgeva eksotermilise reaktsiooni tulemusel soojust, valgust, heli, gaasi, suitsu või nende nähtuste kombinatsiooni.
