rõhkkõrgusmõõtur preferred
õhurõhust sõltuv kõrgusmõõtur
barometric altimeter preferred
  • kõrgusmõõtur, milles kõrguse näit on funktsioon õhurõhust
  • kõrgusmõõtur, mida kasutatakse enamikus õhusõidukites ja taevaaparaatides
  • altimeter in the altitude can be determined based on the measurement of atmospheric pressure
  • altimeter found in most aircraft, and skydivers
  • barometer that use for elevation measurement, in which case a read out is provided in meters
rõhkkõrgusmõõtur preferred
Usage examples
  • Rõhkkõrgusmõõturiga saab mõõta kõrgust samal põhimõttel kui aneroidrõhumõõturiga, kusjuures mõõtevahendi skaalal on rõhuühikute asemel pikkusühikud (meetrid, lennukõrguse mõõturites ka jalad).
Good to know
  • Rõhkkõrgusmõõtur koosneb sobiva mehaanilise või elektroonilise süsteemi abil osutiga ühendatud õhurõhumõõturi kapslist, kusjuures osuti liigub vastavalt õhurõhu muutustele mööda skaalat, mis on gradueeritud meetrites.
õhurõhust sõltuv kõrgusmõõtur
barometric altimeter preferred
Usage examples
  • When a barometer is supplied with a nonlinear calibration so as to indicate altitude, the instrument is called a barometric altimeter or pressure altimeter.
Good to know
  • Barometric altimeter consists of a barometric capsule linked to a pointer by a suitable mechanical or electronic system, and the pointer moves across the dial in response to changes in barometric pressure, and the dial is calibrated in metres.
