Where a Member State, in compliance with the guidelines adopted by the Conference of the Parties to the Convention, registers nurseries exporting artificially propagated specimens of species included in Annex A to Regulation (EC) No 338/97, it may make pre-issued export permits available to the nurseries concerned on which, in box 23, the registration number of the nursery as well as the following statement is included: 'Permit valid only for artificially propagated plants as defined by Cites resolution conf. 9.18. valid only for the following taxa:...........'
