stress concentration

sisejõu mõjujoonte lokaane koondumine, mis on tingitud ühtlase tõmmatud varda ristlõike muutustest, mis viib pinge väärtuse suurenemiseni ning sellest tulenevalt tugevuse vähenemiseni, põhjuseks võib olla ka materjali tundlikkus pingete kontsentreerumisele
pingete ebasoodus ümberjaotamine ristlõikes koos kohalike kõrgete maksimumide tekkega, mis on tingitud pingekontsentraatorite (avade, teravapõhjaliste soonte, ristlõike järskude üleminekute, keerme jms) mõjust

a discontinuity in a machine part that alters the stress distribution in the neighborhood of the discontinuity so that the elementary stress equations no longer describe the state of stress in the part at these locations that are also called stress raisers, and the regions in which they occur are called areas of stress concentration.

pingekontsentratsioon

Usage examples

Kohalik väsimustugevuse üldine tugevuskontroll: suurim tegeliku paindepinge väärtus peab olema väiksem (varutegur) paindetugevusest, mis vastab antud ristlõikes väsimusprotsessi tekkele, mis lõpuks viib väsimuspurunemiseni.

stress concentration

Usage examples

Stress concentrations can also arise from some irregularity not inherent in the member, such as tool marks, holes, notches, grooves, or threads.
