any of the following acts: offering or agreeing to procure a prostitute for another or to arrange a meeting of persons for the purpose of prostitution; directing another to a place knowing such direction is for the purpose of prostitution; receiving money or other thing of value form a prostitute, without lawful consideration, knowing it was earned in whole or in part from prostitution; or aiding or abetting, counseling, or commanding another in the commission of prostitution or aiding or assisting in prostitution where the proceeds or profits derived therefrom are to be divided on a pro rata basis

Kupeldamisena käsitletakse prostituudi ja kliendi kohtumise korraldamist, mistahes viisil isiku mõjutamist, et ta alustaks või jätkaks prostitutsiooniga tegelemist ning ka kõike bordelli pidamisega seonduvat – bordelli pidamiseks ruumi rentimist, bordelli omamist, juhtimist ja bordellis mitteprostituudina töötamist. Prostitutsiooni vahendamise ehk kupeldamise all tuleb mõelda igasugust tegevust, mille käigus üritatakse kokku viia prostituut ja klient, seega konkreetse seksuaalsuhte vahendamine prostituudi ja tema partneri vahel.
