Litsentsiaaril on õigus anda: 1) ainulitsentsi alusel kaitsealuse sordi kasutamise õigus ainult ühele litsentsiaadile; 2) lihtlitsentsi alusel kaitsealuse sordi kasutamise õigus mitmele litsentsiaadile või 3) sublitsentsi alusel kaitsealuse sordi kasutamise õiguse üleandmise õigus ühele või mitmele litsentsiaadile.
